RSM appoints Jason Yau as leader for high growth Asia-Pac Region
RSM, the leading provider of audit, tax, and consulting services to the middle market, has announced the appointment of Jason Yau, a partner of RSM Hong Kong, as regional leader for Asia-Pacific.
Yau has been with RSM since 2004 and brings nearly 20 years’ professional experience. A US Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the State of New York and a Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP), Yau was a member of RSM US global expat team between 2012-2016. Yau subsequently joined RSM Hong Kong and established the Technology and Management Consulting division which provides high-quality IT solutions to corporate customers, including digital transformation services, cybersecurity review, IT assurance and robotic process automation. He serves on several RSM global committees, including Global Digital Advisory Committee, Global Innovation Committee and Global Financial Services Committee.
Asia Pacific is an important growth region for RSM. Globally, the network experienced 11.4% growth across the region in 2020, driven by a significant increase in demand for consulting services as middle market businesses sought to rapidly digitise operations, harness greater data analytics and automation capabilities,v and operational changes in response to the global pandemic. The region also welcomed a new Member Firm in Kazakhstan and grew by almost 2,000 professionals.
