RSM UK and Geldards secure private equity investment for Permaroof
RSM UK and Geldards have helped Permaroof successfully secure funding from UK-based private equity firm, Owner Venture Managers. The investment, along with support from funders Beechbrook Capital and Investec Capital Solutions, will allow Permaroof to build on its success to date and fulfil its ambitious organic growth plans for greater market penetration, roll out of innovative products and acquisition of complementary businesses.
Established in 2000 and based in Derbyshire, PermaGroup Limited, and its subsidiary Permaroof is the UK’s leading importer and distributor of residential EPDM roofing products for both trade and direct markets. Permaroof has grown significantly over the years, expanding its product range to include rooflights and skylights, metal fence panels and artificial grass.
RSM’s M&A and private equity team supported the shareholders in identifying potential investors, negotiating the deal terms and project managing the deal through to completion.
The transaction was led by corporate finance partner Helen Brocklebank, with support from David Rowlinson, Alexander Harris and Kishor Balendran. Partners Paul Feenan and Debra Martin and senior associate Sarah Bailey from Geldards’ corporate team provided legal advice on the deal.
