RSM UK announces 24 new director promotions in continued push for growth
Leading audit, tax and consulting firm RSM UK has announced 24 new promotions to director – demonstrating the firm’s ongoing commitment to growing and developing talent from within its own ranks.
The promotions span several key teams, with tax and audit both promoting nine directors each, five in consulting, and one in the firm’s national support function. The newly promoted directors are located throughout the UK, from Guildford to Hull, with many based outside London, including 10 across the north of England.
Hundreds more staff have been promoted into roles to help drive growth and investment in existing talent as RSM aims to become a first-choice employer of highly skilled people, and a leading adviser to middle market firms globally.
Rob Donaldson, CEO at RSM UK comments: “We’re thrilled to announce a talented group of newly promoted directors from across the country as part of our ongoing drive to invest in our people. As the economy continues to improve, it’s our highly skilled teams that will drive growth, increase productivity and help RSM to become first choice advisers to middle market leaders.
“Each promotion is testimony to the hard work, dedication and commitment of each individual, and I’m particularly proud to see gender parity within our new cohort of directors.”
Dan Thompson, people partner at RSM UK added: “It is fantastic to see such a diverse group of talented individuals grow and progress at RSM. Not only have we promoted 34 partners and directors this year, but internal promotions across all aspects of our business are up 13% – demonstrating our commitment to investing in our own ranks. We have also supported 1,863 people studying for professional qualifications this year, an uplift of 26%. Each promotion celebrates the contribution and talent of our people and provides a real opportunity to make an impact in their new roles.”
