RSM UK announces new head of private equity

Leading audit, tax and consulting firm RSM UK has announced the appointment of Stuart Clowser as head of private equity. Stuart will lead RSM’s cross-discipline private equity team focused on all aspects of the private equity environment, including funds, transactions and portfolio companies.

Having trained at RSM, Stuart was previously a fund audit partner, and has extensive experience advising private equity funds, the portfolios they invest in and the private equity regulatory environment. In his new role, Stuart will build on RSM’s success supporting the private equity market; and continue to develop and grow its specialist private equity team who take a solutions led approach to supporting private equity firms.

Stuart is a member of the BVCAs accounting committee and has played a key part in building RSM’s fund audit practice and client base within the private equity market. He succeeds Charlie Jolly who has been head of private equity for nine years at the firm and now joins the consulting leadership team.
