RSM UK named as ‘outstanding organisation to work for’ by Best Companies
RSM UK has been named as an ‘outstanding organisation to work for’ in 2022 by Best Companies, the industry standard in identifying the UK’s leading employers.
At only the first time of entering, the leading audit, tax and consulting firm has propelled itself straight to a ‘Two Star’ accreditation, the second highest standard of workplace engagement. RSM was also named the UK’s sixth best Big Company to work for in the Best Companies to Work For national league table for the first quarter of 2022.
The ‘Two Star’ accreditation is defined by a company that is outstanding to work for and one that strives for the very top. The accolade marks a major step for RSM as it aims to become a first-choice employer of highly skilled people, and as a leading adviser to middle market firms globally.
Rob Donaldson, CEO of RSM UK, said: ‘I’m delighted that RSM has been recognised nationally for its commitment to being an outstanding employer. The last two years have been an extremely challenging period for everyone, and our priority as a firm has been the wellbeing of our people, ensuring everyone feels supported, listened to, and valued.
‘I’m proud to lead our fabulous team of talented and ambitious people. I am grateful for their support and encouragement. They have continued to adapt to complex and rapidly evolving market conditions, while positively contributing to our workplace culture.
‘Looking to the future, it’s an exciting time at RSM. We have ambitions to grow globally and provide the highest quality advice to our clients across our many services. We can only achieve that by continuing to support and nurture our own people and by attracting new talent. We want to be seen as the place where people of all backgrounds can be themselves, thrive and build a career.’
Jonathan Austin, CEO of Best Companies, comments: ‘Congratulations to RSM on this amazing achievement. To be awarded our second highest standard of workplace engagement and a place on our Best Company’s to Work For Quarter One National League table, is something to be extremely proud of! Well done indeed.’
Achieving a 2 Star accreditation takes a Best Companies Index (BCI) score of at least 696.5. RSM achieved a score pf 700.1, made possible only through an outstanding commitment to workplace engagement. This latest milestone for RSM will strengthen a key ambition to grow the firm from within its own ranks, and over the long-term.
Other Best Companies accreditations by the leading workplace engagement specialist include ‘Ones to watch’; ‘One Star’, defining companies as ‘very good’ and ‘Three Star’, defining organisations as ‘world class’.
The accreditation and league table programmes also help companies to retain and attract talent by measuring, improving, and recognising engagement.
RSM was officially recognised at the Best Companies Live event on Friday 18 February. More information can be found on the Best Companies Live website.
