Savills Brighton secures permission for £87m regeneration project
The proposals include 212 homes, all of which will be affordable, as well as a new community hub, skate park, 3G football pitch, children’s play area and open space. The buildings will range from three to eight storeys in height.
Guy Dixon and Philippa Robinson, from the planning team at Savills Brighton, have been working on the proposals for the last 18 months following a successful tender for the project. Permission was granted at Brighton & Hove City Council Planning Committee on Wednesday this week.
Guy Dixon says: “We are delighted to have achieved unanimous support from members for this significant regeneration project which will provide much needed new homes and facilities in this eastern part of the city.”
