SIA Group launches UK Aviation Auction
The first dedicated UK aviation auction for the general aviation and business aviation market will be held at Bicester Heritage Centre (formerly RAF Bicester) on 5 June, 2014. The Aviation Auction is being conducted by SIA Group, with the opening event and Aviation Conference organised in partnership with MIU, aviation event specialists.
There will be a number of VIP and utility rotary aircraft, piston and turbine fixed wing planes business jets and a selection of lots covering aircraft parts, aviation related memorabilia, art and photography. The aim of the auction is to allow global market access to aircraft they otherwise wouldn’t know were available.
Although aviation auctions are common in the US, this is the first time an auction, dedicated to aviation lots only has been staged in the UK.
Lots will be available for viewing online and pre purchase inspections held at Bicester Heritage Centre from 5th – 20th June, with bidding open from 12th – 21st June 2014.
