Significant funding to support care sector provider with ThinCats finance
Antser, an innovative business support and transformation services provider to the social care, health and education sectors, has been supported with £4.15m funding through leading alternative lender to mid-sized businesses, ThinCats.
Formed by the merger of several social care businesses in 2018, with a goal to achieve positive change across its core sectors, the company combines innovative technology with human-centred service solutions to deliver positive change. A desire to push forward their service provision led CEO, Richard Dooner, to seek the advice of business advisory firm, FRP Advisory, who introduced ThinCats.
The funding will primarily be used in the development of a new data insights solution for health and social care providers, “Antser Insight”. This intuitive, self-serve software solution will enable partners to understand local, regional and national trends or service issues on an actual and predictive basis. By delivering big data in snapshot, dashboard format, on demand, the solution will support informed, proactive planning and delivery of vital services for vulnerable children, adults and families.
Richard Dooner, CEO, Antser: “We continue to innovate and to consider how solutions can be provided in a more accessible and practical way. Technology is playing an incredibly important role for all of us as we move forward in the current situation, and we are delighted that the ThinCats funding is enabling us to continue to develop our offering to the health and social care sector, especially at such a crucial time.”
Chris Webb, Director, regional business development, ThinCats: “Antser is a business that provides a vital service to a hugely important sector, and we are proud to have been able to support Richard and his team with their growth plans. They are a prime example of the forward thinking, ambitious mid-sized SMEs that ThinCats specialises in funding.”
Fahim Kassam and Colin Strevens from FRP Advisory advised Antser on the Transaction.
