Skipton Business Finance welcomes three new regional sales directors
Skipton Business Finance has expanded its sales team with the appointment of three new regional sales directors; David Nurcombe, Simon King and Sam Jones.David Nurcombe:
David has thirty years’ experience working at Lloyds Bank, spending 2001-2014 working for Lloyds Commercial Finance in the Essex/East London area. He joined Royal Bank of Scotland in 2014 to work on the Williams & Glynn Project, but left to join Amicus in 2017. Here he looked after east England, working with finance brokers and accountants. David left Amicus when the business went in a different direction which meant it did not align to his introducer base. Following this, he looked for a company that was more focused on SMEs and had a good name for service. David said: “Skipton has all the things I was looking for so I was delighted to be taken on.”
In his new position, based in Bracknell, David will be responsible for gaining new business for Skipton Business Finance in the Bracknell area.
Simon King:
Simon has experienced 15 years at Lloyds Bank, working in various departments including global transaction banking and commercial finance as regional manager, operating across the South West. Previous roles included international business manager for Worldwide Service covering southern England, business development manager for Black Horse Finance as well as senior branch manager for Black Horse Personal Finance. He was also involved in the opening of Chelsea Building Society in Plymouth, and worked as sales manager for 18 successful months.
Simon said: “I joined Skipton as I saw it as a huge opportunity to develop new and existing relationships.” Simon is now based in the Bracknell branch of Skipton Business Finance.
Sam Jones:
Sam has spent the last six years between attending university and working for Bibby Financial Services. Following a year-long placement in 2014, he spent two years as business development executive at Bibby Financial Services in Leicester, covering East Midlands and assisting on over 120 deals. Due to building a solid introducer base in West Midlands, Sam heard about the opportunity in Birmingham to work at Skipton Business Finance.
Sam said: “The early responses from introducers have been great and I am looking forward to getting involved.” In his new position, Sam will cover the West Midlands area, whilst based in the Birmingham branch of Skipton Business Finance.
Managing director of Skipton Business Finance, Greg Bell, said: “I am very pleased to welcome three new regional sales directors to our team. This will help our coverage in the Bracknell and West Midlands areas and I am looking forward to seeing each of them progress with us.”
