SME Pathfinder sees off ‘Big 4’ competition to win pandemic-led digital transformation projects in Caribbean
Pathfinder, a London-based SME which provides a cloud-based Enterprise Platform for advanced analytics and rich data visualisation, has seen off some ‘Big 4’ consultancy competition to win two projects from the Office of Tax Commission and Ministry of Finance in the British Overseas Territory of Bermuda.
Having beaten off one of the ‘Big 4’ competitors in the industry who have been long-term advisors to key government functions, the projects focus around accelerated digital transformation for web-based tax filing, payment and revenue analysis as well as macroeconomic modelling for pandemic issues such as Covid-19. Pathfinder has received excellent feedback from the ministry for an enhanced GDP model for both baseline and stress scenarios which will form the basis for the government raising funds to tackle the economic impact of the pandemic.
Headed up by founder Shweta Jha, Pathfinder is an enterprise platform powered by an AI computing engine, offering rich data visualisation and a comprehensive application suite. The offerings work for organisations of all sizes, delivering cost efficient product development, allowing for optimal processes and business efficiencies.
Pathfinder has been closely supported by Newable, the London-based provider of money, advice and space to SMEs. Newable has provided access to government-backed initiatives including the Innovate UK support ecosystem, which has led to participation in the Innovate UK funded Innovate2Succeed programme and Global Business Innovation Programmes with Australia and India. These have allowed Pathfinder to explore overseas opportunities and bring its innovative solutions to the market in and outside of the UK.
Shweta Jha, founder of Pathfinder, comments: “This is a challenging but hugely stimulating time to be in business among the midst of the global pandemic. We are proud of undertaking these transformational projects for Bermuda which will make a real-world difference in how the territory reacts and responds economically to pandemics including Covid-19. Newable’s Innovation team has been invaluable in supporting us and unlocking access to the network of support that is available to SMEs. We look forward to further rolling out our platform for a range of industries and applications.”
The Pathfinder platform is highly flexible and scalable, with a portfolio that includes Digital Transformation for the public and private industry sectors, sport tech injury prediction platforms for football clubs, through to education, healthcare and agricultural tech uses.
