Statement from Bibby FS: Our commitment to our introducers and your clients
Following some questions we have received from our Introducer partners over the last few days, we would like to take this opportunity to reassure you that we remain open for business and will continue to provide funding and support to SMEs throughout this period and beyond.
- We will continue to explore each new business opportunity based on its own merits – we do not take a sector-led approach or follow market trends. We are proud of our diverse portfolio and it will continue to be one of our strengths.
- We remain committed to funding businesses with cashflow requirements, acquisitions and turnaround transactions – UK SMEs need our support now more than ever.
- We will continue to fund international trade and export. Whether your client has 100% export sales-led businesses or imports from across the globe, we have funding solutions available and advice to offer.
- Our teams continue to meet prospective clients in person if they wish to, whist observing all relevant government guidelines around social interaction. We are offering the ability to meet virtually if this is preferred.
- We appreciate time is often of the essence and are fully committed to giving our introducers and prospects a solution to their needs as quickly as possible. To do so we are utilising online technology to fulfil some of our pre-lend requirements and will always seek to provide an indication of funding appetite within 24 hours.
- The health and safety of our colleagues, clients and introducers is our upmost priority. We are happy to facilitate meetings by conference call, Microsoft Teams, Skype or any other platform to ensure that we can continue to support SMEs throughout this period.
As further advice is announced, we will continue to update you with any changes we may make in the future and any new initiatives that we may introduce. Also, please check our website for ongoing updates and resources.
