S&W accelerates transactions practice growth with two strategic tax partner hires
S&W the fast-growing professional services group, has strengthened its transactions tax offering with the appointment of Rosemary Prendecki and Andrew Robinson as partners in the team. Together, they further enhance the firm’s ability to support private equity, fund and corporate clients across the deal lifecycle.
Rosemary joins from EY, where she was a partner in the private capital transactions team. She has extensive experience advising private equity investors, their portfolio companies and corporate sponsors, in particular in the mid-market, and will play a key role in the continued growth of S&W’s transactions tax practice.
Andrew joins from KPMG, where he was a partner in the deal advisory tax team. He advises private equity, financial services and corporate clients on transaction-related tax matters, including due diligence, structuring, divestments and reorganisations.
Together, they bring deep expertise across domestic and cross-border transactions, helping clients unlock value, manage risk and navigate acquisitions, divestments, restructurings, financing events and exits.

The appointments build on S&W’s continued investment in its deals and advisory capabilities, following the recent appointment of Paul Martin as Partner and Head of Transaction Services. Working closely with colleagues across transaction services, tax and corporate finance, Rosemary and Andrew will help deliver an integrated advisory offering that supports clients from deal origination through to exit, with a focus on value creation at every stage.
Returning to the firm where she began her career, Rosemary Prendecki said: “I am delighted to be joining S&W to accelerate growth across our transactions tax offering. S&W is a trusted adviser, working with clients to help them navigate an increasingly complex deal environment. By combining our specialist tax expertise with practical application and joining together with S&W’s strong transaction services and corporate finance capabilities, we can offer a compelling, joined-up proposition for clients in the transaction and funds space.”
Andrew Robinson said: “S&W has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, joined-up advice to clients. I look forward to working with colleagues across the transactions tax, transactions services and corporate finance teams to further strengthen the firm’s transactions tax offering and help clients navigate complex transactions with confidence.”
Mark Webb, head of business Tax at S&W: added: “Rosemary and Andrew are exceptional hires whose expertise further strengthens our business tax offering. Rosemary brings a wealth of experience advising private capital clients and a strong track record of helping grow transaction tax practices, while Andrew adds significant expertise across financial services and corporate transactions. Together they further strengthen our ability to provide integrated advice to clients across the deal lifecycle.”
