The Finance Professional Show 2016 launches CPD-accredited Education Hub
London’s largest broker-facing trade show is proud to offer CPD accreditation for the very first time, in association with MyNACFB.
On 9 November, those attending the fourth annual Finance Professional Show will have the opportunity to visit the brand new Education Hub which will host informative sessions throughout the day.
Kicking things off with a complimentary hour of Breakfast Networking from 9.30am, the Education Hub visitor feature is aimed at learning and professional development in various areas affecting intermediaries.
Each of the fully-accredited sessions count as 30 minutes’ worth of structured CPD.
Confirmed speakers for the Hub include Barclays Bank, UK Trade & Investment (UKTI), The Finance & Leasing Association (FLA), the Institute of Financial Services and, of course, MyNACFB.
Of his upcoming presentation on the new asset finance diploma launched last month, top lobbyist and named in the Leasing Life Power 50 this year, head of asset finance at the FLA Simon Goldie, said:
“The Asset Finance Diploma has been designed to ensure practitioners, both funders and brokers, are operating at the highest professional standards.”
A representative from MyNACFB said:
“The goal of the MyNACFB portal is to ensure we provide you with an easy to access online tool that gives you facts at your fingertips enabling you to upskill your knowledge and demonstrate competency, all at the click of a button.
“Our new CPD functionality gives you the ability to assign additional CPD programmes to yourself as and when you need them and, equally importantly, also allows you to add external accredited activities, such as attending any of the training workshops at the Finance Professional Show to your CPD total – all of which hopefully makes reaching your annual CPD target far easier to achieve.”

D’mitri Zaprzala, head of sales, Octopus Property, said:
“You only have to look around to see every major lender is here and pretty much every major broker is here, either with a stand or seeing other lenders that are here. It’s the one that people want to be at. It’s the Oscars of the trade shows in our industry.”
Neil Molyneux, head of sales and marketing, Masthaven Finance, said:
“Not only did we meet existing introducers, but we also made what appears to be extremely useful introductions with several brokers discussing specific cases they wish to place with us.”
Laura Carr, underwriter, Hope Capital, said:
“We felt it was really well organised and the quality of attendance was high, so we would recommend the event to others.”
Rob Jupp, chief executive officer, Brightstar Financial, said:
“We’re very confident that we can do substantial business from the leads generated specifically from the show.”
Regentsmead said:
“The visitors to our stand were serious people looking to do business and this was reflected in the quality of the discussions.”
Stephen Burns, co-founder, Adapt Finance, said:
“The show was the best we’ve attended. A real hall full of, importantly, the right exhibitors, great seminars and educational options.”
