The UK200Group appoints new CEO

The UK200Group of independent accountancy and law firms has today announced the appointment of Declan Swan as their new chief executive officer.

In this role, Declan’s aim is to implement the group’s latest strategy and further develop markets and commercial relationships for its members at local, national and international level.

Declan joins the UK200Group having spent the last 10 years leading and running membership organisations, where he has gained strong expertise in marketing and business development.

Declan said: “I am greatly looking forward to representing and promoting the UK200Group membership. There is no doubt that there is a need among small and medium enterprises for high quality accountancy and legal services.

“The UK200Group can deliver these and if we work together, we will build a strong market profile for the group and its members wherever they may be.”

Declan’s appointment comes just weeks after the UK200Group launched its new strategy, which features fresh branding and a redesigned website.

He is acutely aware of the need to position UK200Group members so that they can further develop their businesses and engage with the wider professional community. That in turn will strengthen the group moving forward.
