ThinCats expands North West business development team
ThinCats, the leading alternative finance provider to mid-sized SMEs, has announced today the appointment of Andrew Sanders as associate director in its North West business development team. Andrew will work alongside existing business development directors Mike Dinnell and Michelle Heptinstall from ThinCats’ central Manchester office.
Andrew joins ThinCats from the Corporate Finance (Debt Advisory) team at EY. In this role he provided advice on a range of debt financing transactions, supporting clients across the credit market spectrum in securing working capital funding, growth financing, acquisition funding and leveraged financing.
Andrew Sanders, associate director, ThinCats: “I’m delighted to be joining ThinCats at such an exciting time in its development. In response to increasing demand, it has quickly established a significant hub in the North West covering origination, credit, transaction management and relationship management. I look forward to supporting many more mid-sized SMEs in the region through ThinCats’ bespoke funding proposition.”
Mike Hackett, head of business development, ThinCats: “Andrew is a great addition to the team and is evidence of our continued commitment to high growth businesses in the North West. With the upcoming arrival of Simon Dixon next month, who will lead business development in the region, I believe we have one of the strongest teams in the industry. This is being recognised by the local business finance community where we recently ranked as the leading debt provider for M&A transactions in the region for H1 2023 and have just been nominated for Funder of the Year at October’s North West Dealmakers.”
