Today marks the day of transition from ABFA to UK Finance
What does this mean for you and the ABFA? We are confident that the new association will allow us to have a bigger and better voice whilst continuing to provide the same high standards of education and support to members and the industry.
UK Finance Members and Affiliates will continue to receive the same range of services currently available from the ABFA.
Current services will be enhanced through improved cross-industry coordination, more comprehensive data and improved technology.
In practice, on 1 July, other than a change of name you will see little change. Staff will still be accessible on our old office number and our mobile numbers. Emails will change to name.surname@ukfinance.org.uk but there will be a short term divert to the UK Finance email addresses.
After two months, staff will be relocated to the new offices at Angel Court in London but I will let you know more about this nearer the time.
Thank you for the help and assistance you have given the ABFA over the 40 years of its existence as it evolved through the Association of British Factors, Association of British Factors and Discounters, Factors and Discounters Association and the Asset Based Finance Association. I am sure that we will continue to work well together in its new evolution into the asset-based finance arm of UK Finance.
Regards
Jeff Longhurst
