Trio of appointments will help local accounting firm reach strategic objectives
Carpenter Box, a leading accountancy firm with offices in Brighton, Chichester, Gatwick and Worthing, has bolstered its marketing team with a trio of appointments, ranging in seniority and expertise. Together, they will help the firm reach its strategic growth objectives and raise its visibility amongst potential clients, as well as drive internal communication for the firm’s 200 employees.
The first is Alan Ford, who joins as marketing manager on maternity cover, and has over 20 years’ experience working in this function for retail, social care, and leisure businesses.
A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Alan is focused on new creative ways of working and data driven insight to maximise ROI. Together with Carpenter Box’s communications director Kira McKinney, he manages the marketing team and overarching strategy to deliver the best possible support to all areas of the business.
Second comes Carpenter Box’s new digital marketing executive Jonny Matthews. In this newly created position, Jonny is now responsible for the firm’s website content, search engine optimisation and social media strategy. Jonny has a masters degree in digital marketing and specialises in sustainability.
Carpenter Box has also appointed a new marketing assistant, Nia Hazell, who joins from an estate agent and will assist the team with a broad range of marketing activities.
Alan Edwards, Carpenter Box’s managing director, said: “These skilled and dedicated new appointments arrive at an important time, as we are experiencing a period of unprecedented business growth, with enquiry levels on a high across all our service lines.
“However, there is room for further expansion, so promoting ourselves effectively is essential, as is positioning ourselves as the employer of choice in the Sussex area.
“Alan, Jonny and Nia strengthen our marketing team and will help spread the Carpenter Box word, both for new business and recruitment. I’d like to welcome them to the firm and wish them every success in their new roles.”
All three of the new appointments are settling in at Carpenter Box and relishing the challenges of working for one of the region’s leading accountancy practices. They are based in Worthing but will also work across the firm’s other offices.
