Triodos Bank UK joins NACFB
Triodos Bank UK has joined the National Association of Commercial Finance Brokers (NACFB) as an official lender patron, raising awareness of its specialist offering among the broker community.
The largest trade association for commercial finance brokers in the UK, the NACFB has more than 2,000 members, which follow its code of practice and undergo regular minimum standards reviews.
Phillip Bate, business lending team lead at Triodos Bank UK, said: “Everything we do as a bank is driven by our mission to direct money into positive social, cultural and environmental organisations and we can offer brokers a mission-aligned partner for customers that share these values.
“Joining a well-established trade body like the NACFB is an ideal way for us to raise awareness of our specialist lending proposition among the broker community, especially as sustainability becomes an increasingly important priority. We’re keen to support brokers in better understanding sustainable finance, including what genuinely sustainable options look like.
“We’re excited to be working with a new area of finance services and look forward to our new partners joining us on a sustainable journey.”
With more than 25 years’ experience in making money work for positive change, Triodos Bank UK has specialist expertise across a range of sectors, including renewable energy and sustainable development, health and social care and the arts.
Norman Chambers, NACFB managing director, added: “Rightly, the visibility of sustainable finance is growing and our members are keen not only to support that growth but also to really understand how it works and can be applied. Welcoming Triodos Bank UK as a patron lender means our members can continue their learning journey and expand their range of sustainable finance solutions for SMEs.”
