UKEF statement on UK overseas trade in goods statistics
The latest UK overseas trade in goods statistics: October 2025 have been published.
They show that:
- Total exports of goods for October 2025 were £36.8bn.
- Up £4.0bn, or 12%, on September 2025, up £1.4bn, or 4%, on October 2024.
- The Top 5 countries the UK exports to are, USA, Germany, China, Netherlands and Ireland.
- The top 5 goods exported are, precious metals, mechanical appliances, electronic equipment, motor vehicles and pharmaceutical products
Responding to this data CEO of UK Export Finance, Tim Reid, said: “UK exports drive economic growth and every business that sells overseas supports skilled jobs and stronger communities at home.
“But too many firms are missing out. Exporting can significantly boost revenue and open new markets too. UKEF is here to help UK businesses win contracts abroad and tap into global opportunities.”
