Ultimate Finance supports Brookes HC Recruitment turnaround
Brookes HC Recruitment has enjoyed a complete turnaround in fortunes thanks to Ultimate Finance providing an invoice finance facility and back office support.
A financial issue with a client pushed the Birmingham-based healthcare recruitment firm to the brink but partnering with Ultimate Finance helped them turn things around. The specialist asset-based lender supported Brookes through administration, providing the company with a £400,000 invoice finance facility to guide the company through the difficult period and ensure it was well positioned to expand for growth.
Ultimate Finance’s invoice finance facility is also helping to alleviate the pressures of running a business by also providing a back-office facility including chasing outstanding payments and managing candidate payroll administration.
It is these elements of Ultimate Finance’s offering which Shaun McMurchie, owner of Brookes HC Recruitment, believes have been central to the success of the company and tenfold increase in productivity since the rebrand.
He said: “Entering into administration is one of the most stressful experiences a business owner could possibly go through but with Ultimate Finance on our side, you wouldn’t have known it. The team came in and completely removed the stress of the situation, reassuring me that Brookes could come back stronger than before.
“Not only has the funding Ultimate provided transformed our financial situation but they have also taken complete ownership of my back-office. The team completely understands my company, the specific pressures recruitment agencies face and how to respond to them in a timely and efficient manner.
“With my previous funding partner, I was left worrying from week to week whether they would deliver what they promised, which not only impacted productivity at work but also meant I spent less time with my family. Now I know Ultimate Finance has it covered – they have completely removed the pressure from my shoulders and have allowed me to focus on running my business and pushing for growth.”
