Knowledge Hub – VAS Valuation Group’s library of short education videos answering the most common questions about the valuation sector – has expanded once more with five new resources.
For VAS Panel, Stephen Todd, chief commercial officer and co-founder addresses sales history and the Landlord and Tenant Act while Andrew Murdoch, valuation panel director tackles the concept of cash value and what is meant by ‘rely on’.

Knowledge Hub has become a go-to resource for lenders and brokers looking to educate themselves and their teams on the valuation sector, with the number of one-to-two minute videos now standing at 24 with a further six currently being recorded.
Stephen said: “Our lender and broker clients are using the resource in a variety of ways, some have created standalone educational programmes within their businesses so staff get a in-depth overview of the valuations sector while other dip in-and-out depending on the case in front of them. Either works.
“I’ve said many times that education really is key to understanding how valuations sit so importantly within the financial chain and how, with a bit more knowledge, brokers and lenders can make this important step in the process a more seamless and rewarding experience.”
