Victoria House Day Nursery in Worcestershire sold
Specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co, has announced the sale of Victoria House Day Nursery in Worcestershire.
Victoria House Day Nursery is an exceptional setting with operating capacity for up to 88 children aged from three months to five-year-olds and includes before and after school care and holiday club for children aged four to 11 years. The business occupies a substantial three-storey converted Victorian property in a residential area in Worcestershire, close to schools and local amenities.
The setting was previously owned by Mr Matthew and Mrs Davina Wade who have built up the reputation and standards of the nursery over many years but, as they now wish to invest in other business interests, they decided to sell Victoria House.
It has been sold to experienced day nursery operators based in the Midlands who “are really excited to get involved with the nursery and plan to put [their] mark on it with the help of the very experienced staff.”
Mr Wade comments, “Having operated the nursery for over 15 years and placing our own children in the secure care of the settings along with growing the nursery and out of school club care, we have decided it was time to exit following the many years of success.”
Jassi Sunner, associate director – childcare & education at Christie & Co, who handled the sale, comments, “Given the location of Victoria House Nursery, it was always going to attract an array of interest. The route in and out of the city is a key commuter path for parents in different types of employment and the hospital and university provide another consistent way to maintain occupancy across the nursery. Having established an experienced management team at the setting, Matt and Davina have been able to empower their staff to deliver an excellent standard of childcare which creates and develops its own reputation and, in turn, attracts parents to the nursery.

Victoria House Day Nursery was sold for an undisclosed price.
