Wildfire Property has secured an £850,000 property development loan from Aldermore
Aldermore will provide funding for the construction of two semi-detached houses, the latest in a series of property development loans the bank has made in the South West. Wildfire, based in Bristol, has a strong innovative spirit, and this latest project is an example of its fresh and creative approach to construction. The modern homes will have unique design features and offer highly sought-after sea views from their hill-top location.
Greg Pescott, property development manager at Aldermore, said: “It has been fantastic working closely with such an ambitious and forward-thinking company, whose values and bespoke approach to their work mirrors our own. Jeremy and Chris bring a new perspective to the building industry, through a more flexible and personal approach to the projects they undertake – resulting in new and innovative developments.
“We strongly believe in continuing to invest in British property development through our lending, which is why we’re delighted to have partnered with Wildfire’s latest project. Experienced property developers like them are crucial in the drive to increase much needed housing supply for first time buyers and those looking to move up the property ladder.”
Jeremy Smale, director at Wildfire Property, comments: “We were introduced to Aldermore following a recommendation by a mortgage broker and were struck by how they instantly recognised the value of the development and the time they took to familiarise themselves with our business. Their wealth of experience and extensive knowledge was evident from the outset and their excellent work ethic really resonated with us.”
Chris Kirky-Bott, director at Wildfire Property, added: “We turned to Aldermore because of the unique construction, design and location of the project which required a bespoke funding package. The Bank is certainly able to deliver a high-quality service and we were impressed by how they quickly became a part of our vision. Their can-do attitude and flexibility meant it was very easy to form a great working relationship. This really set them apart from traditional lenders and made an extremely refreshing change.”
