Winterhill launches new receivables division
Winterhill, the Manchester-based recovery and insolvency support group, has launched a new division, Winterhill Receivables.
Headed by James Hulme, the ten-strong team consolidates three existing Winterhill brands and aims to provide a comprehensive debt-related service for the asset-based lending, invoice discounting and insolvency communities.
Winterhill Audit ID, which was founded by Hulme, provides invoice discounting and asset-based lending audits, new business surveys and due diligence services to banks, asset-based lenders and invoice discounters. It is now joined by Winterhill’s telephone debtor verification and debtors ledger collection services.
Commenting on the new division, James Hulme said: “Following the successful acquisition of Audit ID in 2013, the consolidation of Winterhill Audit ID into the Winterhill Group is a natural progression. The new Winterhill Receivables division provides complementary services from a single contact point, which enables us to maximise efficiency and expertise for the benefit of our clients”
Neil Duckworth, Winterhill chief executive, said: “Winterhill Receivables will provide a broad spread of services for clients in the invoice discounting and asset-based lending sectors. As businesses continue to struggle to access funding by the more traditional routes, alternative providers are seeing a surge in demand and that is creating knock on increase in demand for our own services.”
Headquartered in Manchester, Winterhill Renewables has offices in Leeds, Nottingham and London.
