Winterhill opens new London office
Manchester asset valuation and recovery group Winterhill has stepped up its London operations with the launch of new offices in the capital.
Headed by director Andrew Dunbar, the firm has relocated from its base in Mayfair to new offices in London’s West End, at 22 Hanover Square. The five-strong Winterhill London team provides valuation and recovery advisory services to clients ranging from banks, asset based lenders and advisers, to private equity houses and corporate recovery and turnaround professionals.
Andrew said: “Despite a challenging market, we are experiencing a continued and increasing demand for our services in London and the South. A base here is very important as we continue to grow the business and the Winterhill brand.”
Recent appointments have seen Winterhill valuing and marketing some unusual assets including those of the world’s longest established climbing wall manufacturer, which is a UK company. The firm has also been appointed to carry out corporate debt recovery on several administrations as well as numerous property valuations and sales.
Neil Duckworth, chief executive at Winterhill, said: “We have established a business with a unique blend of valuation, property appointnments, sales, debt recovery and insolvency expertise, and we are equipped to grow rapidly, whether organically or by acquisition.
“London is a very important location for us strategically, both as a base for our client work in the South of England, as well as for the increasing number of international appointments we are undertaking that require a London presence.”
