Wylie & Bisset invests in hospitality sector recovery
Chartered Accountants Wylie & Bisset has engaged umbrella organisation The Professional Partner Network (TPPN) to augment the range of specialist expertise and advice it provides to the hospitality sector, following the recent appointment by TPPN of senior hospitality experts Christine Oxford and Derek Hough.
Oxford has worked with some of the UK’s largest pubco groups, most recently as managing director and board member of Liberation Group. Operating as business leader, advisor and chair, Hough provides board level experience to international and UK business in the hospitality and leisure sector.
Catherine Livingstone, head of Wylie & Bisset’s Food & Beverages team, said: “With a question mark lingering over foreign travel this summer leading many analysts to forecast a boom in staycations, the immediate outlook for hospitality sector operators is sunnier than it has been for some time.
“I would advise licensees to ensure they are in receipt of the best possible financial advice to help them thrive over the busy summer months ahead and take full advantage of the commercial opportunities that recovery will present.”
Scott Grant, TPPN director, added: “By engaging our services, Wylie & Bisset is able to expand the comprehensive range of financial and business advisory services it already provides to the hospitality sector.
“Christine is skilled in maximising income from property portfolios and managing the landlord and tenant relationship while Derek specialises in business strategy development, transformation, and operational change.
“Together we are actively engaged in assisting Wylie & Bisset
