Wymeswold Pharmacy in Leicestershire sold for the first time in over 20 years
Specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co, has announced the sale of Wymeswold Pharmacy in the village of Wymeswold, North Leicestershire.
Wymeswold Pharmacy is a standard hours community pharmacy which dispenses an average of 2,700 items per month. The business, which was previously owned by Mr Roger Kirkbride, who decided to sell to enjoy his retirement after more than 20 years of ownership, has been purchased by first-time buyer and experienced pharmacist, Mr Sarman Odedra.
Carl Steer, director at Christie & Co, who handled the sale, comments, “The owner turned to Christie & Co for advice when he started to think of retiring. It turned out to be a challenging sale mainly due to delays caused by Covid-19, but all parties were thrilled at the eventual outcome. Best of luck to Mr Odedra with his new business venture.”
Wymeswold Pharmacy was sold off an asking price of £140,000.
