Xeinadin strengthens regional advisory leadership with spate of promotions and appointments
Xeinadin, a leading provider of accountancy services and business advice for small and medium-sized enterprises and individuals across the UK and Ireland, has announced two senior appointments in its Sittingbourne office, reinforcing its continued investment in the South East and its long-term commitment to supporting businesses across North Kent.
Simon Laurie has been appointed as director and brings extensive experience supporting owner-managed businesses through periods of growth, providing both compliance and strategic advisory services. His focus will be on helping SMEs build robust financial foundations while planning confidently for the future. Alongside his client work, Simon will play an active role in driving business development across North Kent as the Sittingbourne office continues to expand.
Alongside this, George Cannon has been appointed as tax associate director. While his background is rooted in compliance, he also provides advisory support in employment taxes and has experience in personal tax planning, including capital gains tax and inheritance tax matters. Over time, his role will increasingly support business owners with forward-looking tax planning and succession considerations.
Together, the appointments deepen the office’s ability to provide joined-up advice, supporting both the operational needs of local businesses and the longer-term ambitions of their owners.
Symon Barkway, managing partner in North Kent, says: “These appointments reflect the confidence we have in the Sittingbourne office and in the wider North Kent market. There’s real ambition among businesses here, and we’re seeing increasing demand for advice that goes beyond compliance. Simon and George both understand what owner-managed businesses need at different stages of growth.
As we continue to grow locally, being part of one fully integrated practice across the UK and Ireland means our clients benefit from local advisers backed by national expertise. That combination gives businesses in Sittingbourne the depth of support they need without losing the personal connection”
Sittingbourne and the wider North Kent region remain a key focus for Xeinadin. By investing in experienced advisers with strong regional knowledge, the practice is enhancing its ability to support SMEs navigating growth, employment challenges and increasingly complex tax planning decisions.
