Zephyr Homeloans to hold broker webinar on BTL limited companies this month
Zephyr Homeloans, the specialist buy-to-let (BTL) lender owned by Computershare, will this month host a webinar on the topic of limited companies.
The event on 24 May is for brokers involved in advising such companies, which are typically set up to purchase and manage a BTL property.
Julian Sampson, partner at TWM Solicitors and head of the firm’s lending department, along with Zephyr Homeloans’ regional sales manager Andy Rowe, will discuss the laws that apply to limited companies, how they borrow money and directors’ responsibilities.
The 45-minute webinar, which will include a live Q&A, will also cover the differences between conveyancing for a BTL limited company and purchasing BTL property as an individual, how personal guarantees work, as well as the importance of directors and non-directors receiving independent legal advice.
